Smokin’ Joe Frazier Foundation

“Project KNOCKOUT”

On March 8, 1971, former world heavyweight boxing champion, Smokin' Joe Frazier fought what has often been called one of boxing's greatest bouts.  In a 15-round unanimous decision, which became known as the “Fight of the Century”, Smokin' Joe Frazier while undefeated himself would become the first professional fighter to prove that an undefeated Muhammad Ali could be defeated.

Smokin' Joe Frazier is about to lace up his gloves once again and fight another 15-Round bout in the "Greatest" fight he has ever fought!

"Project KNOCKOUT" is the national community outreach of the Smokin' Joe Frazier Foundation to fight in what has been identified as the "15" most dangerous cities in America.  This fight will be against the issues of insufficient education and life skills which result in poverty, along with the battle of health and wellness in urban communities across America.

As a public charity the “SJFF” will serve as a fundraising organization to form an alliance with organizations in cities that have been identified.  This initiative will partner with these organizations, some established and some that are newly developed that have a concept that will facilitate the “SJFF” vision to enhance the "Quality of Life" youth in urban communities.

MISSION: The purpose of "Project KNOCKOUT" is to enter into urban communities labeled "poverty-stricken" and facilitate grants to organizations that create avenues of hope by providing life skills that result in sustainable opportunities to enhance the "Quality of Life" for youth in urban communities.

Project KNOCKOUT will fight to:

1). KNOCKOUT the dropout rate through our national “Mentoring & Tutorial Program” with a concentration on the development of academic achievement/enhancement programs that address the issues of insufficient education.

2). KNOCKOUT the issues of insufficient life skills which result in a cycle of poverty through life skill and lifestyle instruction by providing mentors and life coaches.

3). KNOCKOUT the deterioration of health and wellness in urban communities through the instruction of proper “Nutrition and Exercise,” with a particular focus and concentration of the elimination of juvenile diabetes in urban communities.
